CASB Lecture Series, 5/24/2007: Building an Innovative Economy: Science and Technology in China
CASB is co-organizing a lecture: “Building an Innovative Economy: Science and Technology in China” with China Institute and the Levin Institute on Thursday, May 24, 2007 ~ 8:30–10:30 AM.
Facing global challenges, China extends governmental S&T funding, reforms scientific institutions and improves the national innovation system. Both domestic and multinational enterprises rapidly increase S&T investments and R&D workforces in China to sharpen their competitive edges. Panelists will evaluate China’s current and future S&T capacity and forecast its regional and global impacts.
