We had a great 2007 CASB New Year Party on 2/28. I would like to thank all the friends who participated in the party to cerebrate the Chinese New Year and 10th anniversary of CASB. I would also like to give special thanks to all the friends who donated to support the event. I would also like to thank the CASB event team lead by Weiwei Du and Lisa Tan for the great efforts
It was an exciting party, a great joy for every body. The Honorable Ambassador Liu Biwei, the Consul General of China in New York, presented an exciting and warm speech. Mr. Harry Edelson, a legend in investment field, Mr. Zhang Liyong, the President of the China General Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Alan Minz, the Canadian Consul in New York, Mr. John Allen, Chairman/CEO of Greater China Corp, Dr. Grace Shu, Commissioner, Pennsylvania Governor’s Advisory Commission, and Cristina Wollf of the Amper, Poliziner&Mattia PC also gave interesting speeches. I talked about the past 10 years of CASB. CASB Director Larry Wu was the MC. The honorable guests also include Ambassador Xu Yanan, Counselor Li Wuqing, Consul Hu, Consul Wang Xu and French Consul Michel Besse-De-Dressais.
The performance of Miss Fangtao Jiang, a world famous Soprano, brought the party to a new high. After dinner many friends also sang with Karaoke music. It was especially fun to hear the singing of Ambassador Li Biwei with Fangtao Jiang.
